Louis is heading the Hong Kong desk of Natixis Transport Finance to cover aircraft finance origination for the region.
Louis joined Natixis, in March 2001 closing his first aircraft finance deal for an American client just ten days after September 11th, 2001.
Since then, Louis arranged diverse financing structures for a wide range of clients, from ECA loans and multi-tranches transactions to Tax lease structures. Louis has particularly been involved in transactions awarded the Most Innovative Deal of the Year Award in 2002 and the Aircraft Debt deal of the year Asia in 2005 and Most Innovative again in 2008 by Aircraft Finance Journal.
Louis has been an active actor of the low cost development in Europe and Asia arranging the financing of the first new aircraft delivered to easyJet in 2003 and AirAsia in 2005 respectively.
Covering Asia for several years, Louis established in HK in September 2006 and developed FOL, operating lease as well as JOL in the region.
Louis enjoys trail-running, sailing and spends too much of his spare time teaching his four kids how to use chopsticks when in local restaurants.
Before joining Natixis, Louis held various positions in BNP Paribas.
Louis graduated from EAP/ESCP (European School of Management) in 1996.
Louis is fluent in French, English and German.
