Marc Rosenberg recently retired as Air Canada’s Vice President Sales and Product Distribution having completed 37 years of full time service over a 40 year period.

Previously, Marc was President and Chief Executive Officer of Galileo Canada, at the time (July, 1994- Nov, 1996) a wholly-owned subsidiary of Air Canada.  He has also served as Chairman of the Board, Galileo Canada and represented Air Canada as a Director on the board of Apollo Travel Services, Galileo International, and Galileo Japan.
Marc was responsible for leading the Air Canada team that continues to make significant changes to the electronic distribution model, widely recognized within the travel industry as leading edge.

Since 1983 Marc has held senior positions within the airline. His positions included, President and CEO, Air Canada Vacations,  General Manager USA & South, Passenger Sales and Service (Miami, Florida),  Managing Director, Passenger Sales,  Agency and Interline Sales Director, and International Merchandising Director.

Marc has also served on the Board of the Airline Reporting Committee, was Chair of various marketing boards for the Canadian Tourism Commission, and as a Board member for the Toronto International Film Festival.

In his sales portfolio as VP Sales & Product Distribution, Marc created and managed Air Canada’s integrated Passenger Sales functions including Agency Sales, Corporate Sales, Leisure Sales, Area Sales (Canada and the USA), Multi-National Sales and Sales Development. 

In the past 12 years Marc participated in numerous North American travel industry venues often as a guest speaker or panelist.
Although recently retired from Air Canada, Marc continues to engage in travel industry related business as President, Marsalyn Creative Inc. a Toronto, Ontario based consulting practice.
