Amadeus
Since 2004, David oversees all business relating to Amadeus’ airline distribution proposition. This includes the implementation of the commercial strategy across all airline segments.
Under his responsibility, Amadeus has led a new way forward in GDS distribution with the introduction of value-based pricing and the launch of the Amadeus Airline Retailing Platform. The latest evolution transforms the GDS from a purely distribution channel to a retailing platform.
David was also responsible for the introduction of Amadeus Ticketless Access, a distribution solution adapted to low-cost carriers’ specific needs.
David joined Amadeus in 1999 as Market Manager for Western Europe, and was appointed Director for Western Europe in 2003. David is a graduate in Psychology, Economics and History of Art from Leicester University in the UK, and holds an MBA from IEDE in Spain.
