Daniel Olufisan

Daniel Olufisan is a consultant specialising in 
the continuing airworthiness and maintenance management of aircraft. He 
is an Incorporated Engineer with the UK Engineering Council; UK’s 
regulatory body for the engineering profession. He is also a Member of 
the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) and the current Chairman of the 
society's Airworthiness and Maintenance Specialist Group (A&MSG).  
Daniel first became involved with the continuing airworthiness sector 
in 2003 during an undergraduate internship with Bellview Airlines 
(Nig.), where he was exposed to line maintenance, continuing 
airworthiness management, and the procurement of parts and spares for 
the airline’s fleet of B737-200/JT8D aircraft. Shortly after his 
undergraduate studies, he pursued and completed a Masters degree in 
Aerospace Engineering with Distinction at the University of Salford, 
before joining Eastern Airways (UK) in 2008 as a technical records and 
maintenance planning engineer for the airline’s fleet of BAe Jetstream 
4100/TPE331-14 and SAAB 2000/AE2100 aircraft. In 2009, he took up the 
post of aircraft engineering lecturer with the University of the 
Highlands and Islands (UHI) Perth College, where he spent over 3 years 
and held a number of module and programme leadership roles. He is 
currently the training director and principal airworthiness consultant 
at Wing Engineering Limited.
