Bruno Rabiller
Safety Team Leader-Performance & Methods Directorate ATM- R&D and SESAR

Bruno was awarded an Electronic Engineer degree in System and Flight Safety from the French Civil Aviation School (ENAC) in Toulouse in 1988.  He has more than 28 years’ experience in aeronautics. He spent 20 years at the French DGAC (1988-2008) working on aircraft certification at national level and for JAA/EASA and then on Flight ops approval for French aircraft operators. He was deeply involved in the development of CNS Standards at EUROCAE level and JAA/EASA level.  He has a university degree (2001-2002) on Human Factor aspects relative to the design of man-machine interface in aviation from the French University René Descartes-PARIS V. He was involved in several ICAO panels/Study Group relative to navigation. He joined the EUROCONTROL Experimental Centre (EEC) in 2008 as an ATM safety expert. He first worked on the development of Implementing Rules (IR) for the European Commission and then moved to the safety division of the EUROCONTROL Directorate of SESAR and Research. He supported the development of the broader approach to the safety assessment as well as the Accident Incident Model (AIM). He is involved in the SESAR program by supporting different projects for the development of their safety assessment using the broader approach to safety assessment and the AIM.

He is leading the R&D and SESAR safety team at the EUROCONTROL ATM Directorate.
