Rebecca has been teaching English to speakers of other languages for 16 years and holds an International Business degree, a Postgraduate Teaching qualification (secondary) and a Masters in Applied Linguistics. She is also a qualified International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examiner and an Aviation Language International Test of English (ALITE) examiner and trainer.
At 16 she began flying and holds a current private pilot's licence. She combines her love of flying with her professional role at Griffith University by working closely with flying schools in the local area to deliver specialised and relevant Aviation English training courses to their students.
Rebecca and her team have also developed textbooks and computer based training materials for the wider aviation community and regularly deliver an ICAO compliant testing service for pilots and air traffic controllers.
