Robin Pursey was trained initially as a Mechanical Engineer.
Pilot training at College of Air Training, Hamble in Jan 1974, graduated end 1975.
Joined BCAL as BAC 1-11 co-pilot January 1976, flew the B 707 and 747. Captain BAC 1-11 then Captain A 320 in 1988. Flew with British Airways, Cyprus Airways and subsequently Eurocypria as Chief Pilot and TRI/TRE.
Entered Airbus in 1994 as A320 TRI/TRE, subsequently qualified on A 330, A 340 and A 380. Deputy Director of Standards, Manager Flight Training then Director of Flight Crew Training.
Current position dedicated to Airbus Executive and Private customers following the training requirements and operational entry into service issues of these highly specialised operators.
