Paul is managing director of Clockwork Research Ltd, the London-based company that helps to manage fatigue risk for clients including BP, DHL Air, easyJet, Jetairfly and Wal-Mart.
Together with Dr Alexandra Holmes, Paul has designed fatigue training programmes for BP and Shell as well as developing online Fatigue Awareness and Countermeasures Training for easyJet. They have also recently developed a training programme on Fatigue Risk Management Systems for the Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA).
Paul also works as an expert witness in cases where fatigue is suspected as a factor. As a result of this work he has developed guidance for investigators on how to identify and investigate fatigue-related crashes.
