FlightGlobal and Global Flight are delighted to welcome you back to the 10th Annual Loyalty Conference & Awards.

With advances in technology fuelling the ever more demanding traveller who expects to be able to plan their whole trip from their smartphone, getting customer attention and retaining it is becoming a lot more competitive. The challenge for retailers (airlines, hotels, OTAs) continues to be in offering a rewards program that stands apart from the rest and truly provides customers with real value other than discounts.

So how can a brand build a successful loyalty program that serves both brand and customer equally well? For the North American Market, flexible rewards and the ability to receive points across channels are preferred options for customer rewards. In comparison, customers in the Asia-Pacific region show a desire for digital functionality, with mobile features being a key preference.

These are just two difffering examples that show the variety in industry relating to customer rewards and loyalty, and Loyalty 2018 is designed to help retailers build the best loyalty reward schemes for their markets. This year celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Loyalty Awards, taking place on Tuesday 6th February 2018. To celebrate, we have introduced a new category, 'Loyalty Personality of the Year', to celebrate an individual that has had great impact within the industry. For these awards, individuals can nominate themselves or a colleague who's input could not go without recognition.
