A judging panel of experienced loyalty professionals will review and assess all nominations received and select the winners in an independent selection process. All information submitted will be considered confidential and not made public in any way, expect where otherwise stated.

 

Best marketing campaign  

Nominees should demonstrate excellence in setting and executing a marketing strategy or major innovation. Judges will look for evidence of a focused strategy which has helped to strengthen or reshape a company’s market positioning.

 

Best use of technology  

This category recognizes innovation and application of new initiatives in the fields of IT. Judges will look at how technology is integrated into corporate strategy and used to support wider business goals. Credit will be given for a policy with broader industry implications. 

 

Best loyalty partnership  

The nominee should demonstrate how they have operated the best loyalty program with their partner. Judges will look for customer value, commercial benefits for the brand owner and program manager, and enhancement of the brand for the program partner.

 

Excellence in Management  

The nominee will demonstrate outstanding strategic thinking and leadership of an individual executive, rather than the airline. Based on areas such as team leadership, business transformation/ restructuring, clear corporate vision, and setting innovative strategic direction.

 

Best Supplier Initiative award  

The nominee should have an innovative solution that has most meaningfully boosted sales, profitability, effectiveness and/or reputation of a FFP or airline. This could include traditional software or hardware solutions, or a new mobile app.

 

 
Make sure in each category you answer the following questions: 
  1. Describe the product or service for which your company is entering this award category Include the aims and objectives of the initiative, project or program.
  2. What has your company done in the period December 2016 - 31 December 2017 to qualify for this award? Include scope of program or initiative, choice of implementation or approach.
  3. What benefits to your company and your customers can be illustrated as a result? i.e. competitive advantage, effectiveness, ROI, improved performance, service.
  4. What two measurements of success best indicate why your company or the programme or initiative should win this Award? Please refer results and outcomes to the original objectives, provide statistics where available.
